Security Notice From Air Malawi

Just received this week, I thought it might just interest you!

Dear Customers

After just having come back from Johannesburg and seeing the problems that passengers are getting them selves into when they go through security I though I would send this message out to you all so that you are prepared when going through security at Johannesburg Airport and most airports that you will travel through:

1. Liquid, Aerosols and Gels (LAGs)
a) If you are carrying LAGs in your hand luggage they must NOT be more than 100mls
b) They must be stored in a transparent resealable bag 20cm x 20cm
c) You must put this bag through the x-ray machines at security separately

Be advised that your belongings will be taken away from you if you don’t comply with these rules. No containers over 100mls is allowed in your handbaggage even if they are partially filled.

Anything you buy after security at Duty-free can be carried on to the plane. Your goods and proof of purchase slip will be sealed in a special see-through duty free bag. Don’t break the seal of the bag before arriving at your final destination however.

Kind regards
