Miniature UAV's

UAV's (Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles) are all the rage now. You have probably heard of the Predator which has been used in the Iraq war.
It's pretty small, huh?

Not any more...

Imagine a vehicle that can float around in a controlled manner, has an onboard Intel CPU, and can transmit video and sound up to 2000 meters away. Ok... now imagine it being the size of a dandelion seed... roughly 1000 micrometres.

Want something smaller?

Imagine a microphone that is so small, it can be implanted into a mosquitoe's proboscis, and when it bites a host, the microphone is mbedded into it. It uses the bodie's natural electrical impulses to transmit sound...

Pretty creepy...

And considering these details were recently released to the public, you can expect that the classified devices are roughly 25 times smaller...
