Anthony Hopkins has signed on for Robert Zemeckis' Beowulf. Roger Avary (Pulp Fiction, Rules of Attraction) and Neil Gaiman (Mirror Mask), some pretty good names, wrote the screenplay adaptation. Columbia Pictures are also in talks with Ray Winstone, Brendan Gleeson and Robin Wright Penn to join the cast. The film will be bought to the big screen through the magic of performance capture ala Polar Express.
Everything about this movie sounds great with the exception of the performance capture part. Will this be one to watch?
Malawi, me, friends, stories, and whatever else I generally find interesting that's going on in this world...
